OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our creative staff of occupational therapists and certified occupational therapist assistants provides retraining in Activities of Daily Living (ADL), helps select and give instruction in the use of adaptive equipment, does cognitive remediation training, and fabricates custom splints. We have special interest and expertise in hand rehabilitation, although, as yet, the staff does not boast
a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). We do, however, consult with
a nearby CHT as needed. Service is available weekdays with
on-call coverage on weekends.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our experienced speech and language pathologists have expertise in treatments for vocalization disorders, dysphagia, and the use of artificial vocalization devices. In addition, our speech therapists participate regularly in modified barium-swallowing studies. Service is available weekdays, with on-call coverage on weekends.
Rehabilitation Services director Mark Blaskey says, “We would like to express our appreciation to the Baylis family for providing us with this excellent facility in which to practice our profession. We promise to continue to learn and grow professionally, so that only the very finest quality rehabilitation service is associated with their name.”
