Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center enrolls qualified students contingent upon successful completion of all the enrollment requirements. For high school applicants, it is recommended that they submit their applications early in the fall of their senior year. For applicants who have finished high school, or those with a GED, it is recommended that they submit their applications by January 1, prior to the prerequisite year. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. The application must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee and the signed Student Nurse Essential Functions Form. Applicant Outcome
- All applicants will receive written notification regarding the acceptance of their application.
- Once an application is accepted and the applicant has completed 15 college credits, an eligible applicant must take the Preadmission Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V) prior to the March 1st that precedes the planned August enrollment. The TEAS V information sheet will be provided.
- On March 1st, eligible applicants are placed in the class according to all the following:
- Performance on the TEAS V - proficient level or higher required
- Date application was received
- Receipt of the placement form
- After March 15th eligible applicants are notified of:
- A seat in the class and request for payment of $200 non-refundable registration fee to confirm seat by April 1st {or}
- Number on the waiting list with $200 non-refundable registration fee due upon notification of seat in class
- After April 1st, eligible applicants are placed in the class as space is available.
- Eligible applicants must complete all the enrollment requirements.
