BOOKS
Books must be purchased by the student. Students are provided with a required and recommended book list for each semester. Purchases may be made through Rittenhouse Book Distributors at a 10–15% discount to our students. Approximate cost for required books:

TRANSPORTATION
Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation
to all clinical sites. The School does not provide transportation of any type.

FACILITY/MEALS
Students are responsible for housing and meals. A $25 cash deposit is required for a front door key for all students to have access to the facility, and a $10 cash deposit is required for a mailbox key. Meals may be purchased in the Medical Center’s cafeteria at employee rates.

UNIFORMS/EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES
Students can expect to spend approximately $450.00 for the uniform, equipment, and supplies needed for their First Year/Level of nursing; $200 for Senior Year/Level. Uniforms are scrubs, ceil blue top, and white pants, or white top with ceil blue pants. Other required equipment includes nursing shoes, bandage scissors, and a watch with a second hand. Many students choose to purchase their own stethoscope. Recommendation for purchase will be provided in the first nursing class.
