Beebe School of Nursing is proud to congratulate its most recent graduating class on a 100% pass rate for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX). Beebe School of Nursing graduated 19 students for the October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 academic year and is the only nursing school in Delaware whose students achieved a 100% pass rate. Delaware's overall pass rate was 87.5% (266 of 304 nurses); the national rate was 86.34%.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing administers the NCLEX and requires that each nursing school graduate, from all types of programs nationwide, pass it successfully to practice as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
For the second year in a row, Beebe's nursing education program graduated 19 nurses, all of whom passed the exam. Beebe School of Nursing is known for offering comprehensive nursing education, providing education in basic nursing concepts, advanced technology, and critical care nursing. The two-year curriculum provides optimal hands-on clinical experience that is highly accessible due to the school's proximity to Beebe Medical Center.
