A generous bequest from the estate of Mrs. Louise Jarmon Hopkinson provides scholarship awards for the spring semester to a Beebe School of Nursing senior and first-year student who has the highest academic average. Louise Jarmon Hopkinson was a 1932 graduate of Beebe School of Nursing. She served in the Army Nurse corps and as a private duty nurse at Beebe Hospital for many years.

The Beebe Medical Center Foundation manages and facilitates the Louise Jarmon Hopkinson Scholarship award.

The two student recipients this year are:
Senior - Jennifer Heller of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
First Year - Linda Masten of Dover, Delaware

Additionally, monies from the Louise Jarmon Hopkinson Scholarship fund were utilized to send the first-year and senior students to nursing conferences throughout the academic year.
