Pam’s Tans Supports Beebe School of Nursing Fund

Pam’s Tans initiated the Beebe School of Nursing Advancement Fund recently by donating a portion of its holiday sales to the School. The newly established fund will support various educational and service programs sponsored by the School of Nursing.

“I view this donation as an opportunity to return something to Beebe Medical Center and especially the School of Nursing,” remarked Mike Dumal, owner of Pam’s Tans, Inc. “Many of our customers are nurses, who always impress me with their dedication to their profession and patients.”

“The Beebe School of Nursing is extremely appreciative that Mr. Dumal and Pam’s Tans have provided their generous support and recognized the value of our program,” explained Connie Bushey, Director, Beebe School of Nursing. “We are proud to offer education in basic nursing concepts, advanced technology, and critical care nursing, as well as the important hands-on clinical experience that prepares our students so well for real life patient care.”

The two-year curriculum at the Beebe School of Nursing provides highly accessible clinical experience for nursing students due to its proximity to Beebe Medical Center. Last year, for the third year in a row, Beebe School of Nursing was the only program in Delaware whose graduates achieved a 100% pass rate for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX).
